We’re back and looking for speakers for B-Sides London 2012. Whether you are a newcomer to Security B-Sides or an industry veteran, we want to hear from you!
We are opening the CFP presentation and session proposals, and are looking for applicants to engage with the audience and promote discussion; from any of the various security disciplines.
In the spirit of Security B-Sides London, presenters are encouraged to engage with these issues in a way that reflects the material being discussed.
Deadline for submitting your CFP is Monday 6th February.
Once the deadline is reached the CFP will be closed and submissions will be peer reviewed/voted. The selection process will be complete on February 20th. The selected talks will be slotted into streams 1 and 2 and published on the Security B-Sides London website <http://www.securitybsides.org.uk/>.
The Security B-Sides London team will notify successful applicants. In case your talk does not get selected, please keep in mind that we aim to provide a third (un) track where speakers can present their topics on a first come/first serve basis.

About Security B-Sides
Launched in mid-2009, Security B-Sides is a community-driven event built for and by information security community members. The goal is to expand the spectrum of conversation beyond the traditional confines of space and time.
It creates opportunities for individuals to both present and participate in an intimate atmosphere that encourages collaboration. It is where conversations for the next-big-thing are happening and the Security B-Sides London team is bringing this back to London.
The volunteers for Security B-Sides London were inspired by the framework of the original Security B-Sides event in the USA, and have worked together to bring this to the UK. Security B-Sides events are free, community events organised by local individuals, with the expressed goal of enabling a platform for information dissemination.

Security B-Sides London is registered with Companies House under ‘Security B-Sides UK Ltd’ and is governed by a group of volunteers who are Directors of the company, along with a voluntary executive board (to provide oversight of finances and other operational issues).
